Abigail Longtine


Abigail joined the Integrative Physiology of Aging Laboratory in 2018 as an undergraduate at the University of Colorado Boulder. After receiving her BA in Integrative Physiology, she continued her training in the laboratory where she received her MS (2020) and is currently a PhD candidate. Abigail’s research has focused on how the gut microbiome affects artery function with aging, and she has received funding from the NIH (T32 & F31) to complete this work. Outside of the laboratory, she enjoys hiking, rock climbing, and filling her house with plants.
