Edwin Rodriguez

PhD, Research Associate

Edwin joined the Integrative Physiology of Aging Laboratory in 2026 after completing his Ph.D. in the Department of Kinesiology Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Northern Colorado, where he was a member of the Complementary Health and Integrative Physiology Center. Edwin’s dissertation focused on behavioral interventions to improve function of the autonomic nervous system, mental health, and cytotoxic function of the innate immune system in stressed college aged adults. Edwin is a member of the Heat Therapy Clinical Trial team and is interested in holistic interventions to improve cardiovascular health and autonomic function. Outside of lab, Edwin enjoys exercising, cooking, snowboarding, and traveling.
