Kaitlin Freeberg

PhD, Research Associate

Kaitlin grew up in the suburbs of Seattle then moved to San Diego to play soccer at Point Loma Nazarene University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science. She joined the Integrative Physiology of Aging Laboratory in 2018 and completed her PhD in 2023, where she investigated the mechanisms of cerebrovascular dysfunction and whether novel, healthy lifestyle interventions can improve cardiovascular and cerebrovascular health in at-risk populations. Now, she serves as a Research Associate in the laboratory. In her free time, Kaitlin enjoys running and rock climbing.
