After several years in a food industry career, Nick came to CU Boulder, where he received a BA and then MS degree in integrative physiology, studying the gut microbiome as a vector for phenotypic transference of arterial function in mice through fecal microbiota transplantation. Currently, he supports the lab with wet lab maintenance and animal procedures. Outside the lab, Nick enjoys spending time on the trails and in the mountains hiking, running, biking, and doing amateur photography.
