Sarah received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in psychology (neuroscience focus) from Indiana University. She spent many years working in pre-clinical research examining chronic pain in animal and cellular models at Northwestern University, UC Irvine, and UCLA. She translated her skills in pre-clinical research to a new career in clinical studies in 2019 at CU Boulder. After a brief hiatus in industry, she returned to CU as a PRA in the IPA lab and is now coordinating a study examining the effects of fisetin on cellular senescence and vascular function. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys yoga, trail and road running with her Australian Cattle dog named Carrot, and hiking with her partner and their 3-year-old son.
